We are happy to announce our collaboration with NMMT and GSF in organizing Navi Mumbai’s very first Bus Day on 23rd February 2016 at Vashi Bus Depot. To know more about Bus Day visit the site.
Mumbaikers can now use the Jogeshwari – Goregaon Link Bridge which was inaugurated by Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray yesterday.
This bridge is expected to reduce vehicular congestion and reduce bottlenecks for the travellers who commute between the east and west regions. Peak hours have always been a cause of concern for any average user who ends up spending 90 minutes to get to the other side of the road on account of slothful traffic.
Good news for all right?
Delhi Metro services will not be available till 2.30 pm on Holi.
“On the day of Holi festival, which falls March 6, the Delhi Metro will start all its services at 2.30 p.m. on all its lines including the airport express line,” the statement said.
The Metro feeder bus services will not be available for the whole day on Holi, the statement added.
The Delhi Metro will run 17 additional trains starting Monday during rush hours.
“From tomorrow (Monday), there will be a total of 17 additional trains making 104 extra trips during off-peak and evening peak hours on all lines except Line-5 (Inderlok to Mundka) and Airport Express,” the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement on Sunday.
All four coach trains on the busiest lines –
Line-2 (HUDA City Centre to Jahangirpuri),
Line-3 (Dwarka Sector 21 to NOIDA City Centre) and
Line-4 (Yamuna Bank to Vaishali).
“The move is aimed at de-congestion the evening peak hour passenger rush and also to encourage passengers to avail metro services during off-peak hours,” it added.
The DMRC increased the number of coaches from 640 to 1,076 – an increase of almost 70 per cent – across all networks between 2010 and 2014 in the wake of passenger load of about 25 lakh per day, the statement said.
