MEGA-BLOCK o­n MAIN LINE AND TRAFFIC BLOCK o­n HARBOUR LINE o­n 7.2.2016

Central Railway will operate Traffic Block o­n Up and Dn Harbour Line between Vashi and Belapur for connecting newly laid Up and Dn Harbour line between Nerul and Belapur and Mega Block o­n Main Line suburban section between Matunga and Mulund o­n Dn Slow line for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 7.2.2016. The details are as under: –

TRAFFIC BLOCK o­n HARBOUR LINES
ON UP AND DN LINES BETWEEN VASHI AND BELAPUR FROM 2.00 AM TO 10.00 AM

Suburban services will remain suspended between Vashi and Belapur during the Traffic block period. However special suburban services will run o­n CST Mumbai – Vashi – CST Mumbai and Panvel – Belapur – Panvel section during the block period.
Trans Harbour line services will run between Thane and Vashi / Nerul as per time table o­n 7.2.2016.

FIRST SERVICE AFTER COMPLETION OF TRAFFIC BLOCK:
Panvel local leaving CST at 8.23 am
CST Mumbai local leaving Panvel at 9.10 am
Panvel local leaving Thane at 11.12 am
Thane local leaving Panvel at 9.02 am

MEGA BLOCK o­n MAIN LINE
BETWEEN KALYAN AND THANE UP SLOW LINE FROM 11.15 AM TO 3.15 PM

Up Slow and semi-fast line services leaving Kalyan from 10.47 am to 03.04 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Thane stations.Up slow line services will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivali and Thane stations.

All Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.26 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

All slow locals arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Checking of Buses to detect Ticketless traveling

The Checking staff of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has intensified checking of buses operated in and around Bangalore City to detect ticket-less travelling by the passengers. During the Month of  February-2015 they have checked 31203 trips and penalized 7653 ticketless passengers by collecting Rs. 13,93,020/- as penalty and booked  4934 cases against conductor’s for their dereliction of duty.

During  the  aforesaid  period  the  Checking Staff  have  penalized  1949 male passengers  occupying seats exclusively reserved  for  lady  passengers  & imposed  fine  of  Rs. 1,94,900/-  in accordance  with  KMV  Rules  94  r/w  section 177  of   MV  Act  1988.

The passengers  are  requested  to  co-operate  with  the  Checking  Staff & to  travel  in  BMTC  buses  with valid  ticket / day  pass /  monthly  pass. They are requested to produce  the  same  on demand  made  by  the  Checking   Staff  during  the  course  of  checking  &  allow  the  female  passengers  to  occupy  the   seats exclusively  reserved  for  them.

24 Special Trains to Clear Extra Rush

Central Railway will run 24 Special Trains to clear extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

A) DADAR-SAWANTWADI ROAD SPECIALS (8 TRIPS)

01095 Special will leave Dadar o­n every Tue, Fri & Sun from 13.3.2015 to 20.3.2015 (4 trips) at 0750 hrs and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 2030 hrs same day.
01096 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road o­n every Wed, Sat & Mon from 14.3.2015 to 21.3.2015 (4 trips) at 0450 hrs and arrive Dadar at 1610 hrs same day.

HALTS: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap

COMPOSITION: o­ne AC Chair Car, 7 Second Class Seating, 2 General Second Class, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

B) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-KARMALI SUPERFAST SPECIALS (4 TRIPS)

01039 Superfast Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n 13.3.2015 & 20.3.2015 (2 trips) at 0110 hrs and arrive Karmali at 1100 hrs same day.
01040 Superfast Special will leave Karmali o­n 13.3.2015 & 20.3.2015 (2 trips) at 1400 hrs and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 2355 hrs same day.

HALTS: Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal.

COMPOSITION: o­ne First AC, Two AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier, o­ne Pantry Car, 2 Luggage cum Generator Vans.

C) SOLAPUR-NAGPUR SPECIALS (6 TRIPS)

01401 Special will leave Solapur o­n every Wed from 11.3.2015 to 25.3.2015 (3 trips) at 1520 hrs and arrive Nagpur at 1235 hrs next day.
01402 Special will leave Nagpur o­n every Thu from 12.3.2015 to 26.3.2015 (3 trips) at 1500 hrs and arrive Solapur at 1135 hrs next day.

HALTS: Mohol, Madha, Kurduwadi, Barshi Town, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli-Vaijnath, Parbhani, Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Murtazapur, Badnera, Chandur, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha.

01405 Special will leave Bhusaval o­n every Mon from 16.3.2015 to 30.3.2015 (3 trips) at 1835 hrs and arrive Dhule at 2305 hrs same day.
01406 Special will leave Dhule o­n every Tue from 17.3.2015 to 31.3.2015 (3 trips) 0520 hrs and arrive Bhusaval at 0925 hrs same day.

HALTS: Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Jamdha, Shirud

COMPOSITION: o­ne AC Chair Car, 2 Second Class Seating, 6 General Second Class, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

Changes in pattern of Chennai Suburban Trains Services

Due to line block/power block to facilitate engineering works in Chennai Beach – Tambaram section, the certain changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on Saturdays and Sundays from 07.03.2015 to 10.05.2015.

Local residents and others who will be travelling to Chennai during the above mentioned time period are advised to go through this notification. 

2 Holi Festival Specials between Chhaterpati Shivaji Terminus and Madgaon

Railways will run 2 Holi festival special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under: –

00111 Special Train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 11.05 hrs o­n 09.03.2015 and reach Madgaon at 23.30 hrs same day.

00112 special train will leave Madgaon at 16.00 hrs o­n 08.03.2015 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 06.15 hrs o­n next day.

Halts:- Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangmeshwar, Ratnagiri, Vilavade, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim and Karmali.

Composition:- Two AC-3 tier, 3 Sleeper Class, 4 Second Class Seating, 2 General Second Class  and 2 General Second Class cum guard’s brake vans

Reservation:  Bookings will open o­n 06.03.2015.

Delhi Metro to remain closed till 2.30 pm on Holi

Delhi Metro services will not be available till 2.30 pm on Holi.

“On the day of Holi festival, which falls March 6, the Delhi Metro will start all its services at 2.30 p.m. on all its lines including the airport express line,” the statement said.

The Metro feeder bus services will not be available for the whole day on Holi, the statement added.
