Take the name F1 and you are likely to think of this

BUT, wait, behind all the charm is an unexpected reality –

Red Bull’s Mark Webber responded to the speculation by tweeting his sympathy for heavier drivers, claiming that he has been starving himself for years and adding that the perfect driver weight was now between 60 to 65kg.
The Australian, 182cm tall, weighs around 75kg compared with his teammate Sebastian Vettel who is 175cm and weighs 64kg. “Haven’t eaten for last 5 years!” Webber wrote. “Min weight been to [sic] low since for ages. Perfect driver now weight 60/65kg. – Mark Webber says he has starved for years as formula one struggles with ‘heavy’ drivers

And

It reached ridiculous heights when current world champion team, Red Bull asked it’s new driver, Daniel Ricciardo to lose weight. He weighs 143 pounds –This Man Is Too Fat For F1

Also

And the best article that I read about this, not surprisingly came from a female reporter – “The first time I set foot in an F1 paddock, I was taken aback by the drivers’ physical presence. Despite standing only 5’4″ without my heels, and wearing a size 12, I felt like a giant and a heifer next to any of the race-suited lovelies you could care to mention.” –Weighing in on fat drivers – The Inside Line

Greenest Polluted City

You have been hearing it for a while now. Yes, they have have been saying how Delhi smog will shorten your lifespan. The air quality index is one of the worst in the country and also the world. Despite of the fact that –

Delhi is one of the greenest cities in the world with a green cover of almost 20%.

And that – The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) runs the world’s largest fleet of environmentally-friendly buses. These buses run on on CNG, which is far less polluting than buses that run on diesel and petrol.

Where is the Masjid on Masjid Bunder Station?

The Masjid in Masjid Bunder station and area actually refers to the Gate of Mercy synagogue built in 1796, rather than a masjid (mosque).

The Gate of Mercy Synagogue(also known as Shaar Harahamim and Juni Masjid is the oldest synagogue in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. The local appellation of the synagogue, Juni Masjid lends itself to the nearby Central railway station, Masjid Bunder. Despite a fall in numbers, the synagogue still maintains active services such as a 6AM service – Wikipedia

Winston Churchill owes Rs. 13 to Bangalore Club

Former prime minister of Britain Winston Churchill has unfinished business at the Bangalore Club.

A ledger entry, which is part of the Club World Book, which was released as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations of the Club states that Churchill owes Rs 13 in unpaid bills to the club.

You should also know that

When the Independence Bill was being debated in British Parliament in 1947, Winston Churchill had angrily remarked –

Power will go into the hands of rascals, rogues, and freebooters. Not a bottle of water or loaf of bread shall escape taxation; only the air will be free and the blood of these hungry millions will be on the head of Attlee.”

Who was Churchill? Why did he owe 13 bucks? Did he drink too much?
